The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Western and Northern Arkansas

  Southeast and East-central Oklahoma



* Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 1100 PM

  until 500 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A semi-discrete supercell or two may occur ahead of and/or

be embedded with a line of convection is it generally progresses

east-northeastward across the region. A few tornadoes remain

possible into the overnight with damaging winds also possible.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles

east and west of a line from 35 miles east of Durant OK to 15 miles

north northeast of Harrison AR. For a complete depiction of the
