The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Central and Southwest Arkansas

  Southeast Oklahoma

  Northeast Texas



* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 620 PM

  until 100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms will continue to affect the watch area

through the evening, with a few intense cells possible.  Damaging

winds are the primary concern, but an isolated tornado or two is

also possible.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles

north and south of a line from 80 miles west southwest of Texarkana

AR to 75 miles east northeast of Little Rock AR. For a complete
