The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northern Ohio

  Lake Erie



* Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 350 PM until

  1000 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms are tracking across Lake Erie, and are

expected to spread across the watch area this afternoon.  The

strongest cells will pose a risk of damaging wind gusts and hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30

statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles north

northwest of Findlay OH to 50 miles east northeast of Cleveland OH.
