The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southern Iowa

  Northern Missouri



* Effective this Wednesday morning from Midnight until 400 AM

  CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms will continue to move

southeastward across the region overnight, with the strongest of

these storms capable of severe hail and possibly locally damaging

winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35

statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles northwest of

Lamoni IA to 20 miles north northeast of Kirksville MO. For a

tornadoes.
