The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northern Kansas

  Southwest and Central Nebraska



* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 615 PM

  until 100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter likely

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage this

evening as they move from northern Nebraska and northwest Kansas

into the watch area.  The strongest activity will pose a risk of

large hail and damaging winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles north and south of a line from 10 miles west northwest

of Imperial NE to 50 miles east of Hastings NE. For a complete
