The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Southeastern Alabama

  Central Florida Panhandle

  Southwestern and south-central Georgia



* Effective this Saturday morning and afternoon from 620 AM until

  300 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...An organized band of thunderstorms will move across the

watch area from west-southwest to east-northeast through early

afternoon, riding close to a warm front.  Damaging gusts and a few

tornadoes will be the main concerns, though isolated severe hail

also is possible.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles

north and south of a line from 50 miles west southwest of Dothan AL

to 50 miles east northeast of Moultrie GA. For a complete depiction
