TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF



       SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS

       NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA



EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING FROM 1055 PM UNTIL

400 AM CDT.



TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND

GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE

AREAS.



THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 95 STATUTE

MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF

WICHITA KANSAS TO 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BARTLESVILLE OKLAHOMA.

FIELDS THAT HAVE BECOME INCREASINGLY FAVORABLE FOR SUSTAINED

SUPERCELLS...GIVEN THE PRESENCE OF A SFC-BASED STORM.  CONTINUED LOW

LVL NWD MOISTURE TRANSPORT ASSOCIATED WITH NWD MOVEMENT OF CNTRL

PLNS WARM FRONT SUGGESTS THAT THE COMPLEX NEAR ICT MAY ALREADY BE

NEARLY SFC-BASED.  GIVEN THE ABOVE...LOW-LVL VEERING PROFILES...AND

WARM/VERY MOIST LOW LVL ENVIRONMENT...POTENTIAL WILL EXIST FOR A

TORNADOES IN ADDITION TO HIGH WIND/HAIL.
