The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  A small part of central and north Texas



* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 545 PM until

  1100 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms developing in the Stephenville to Comanche

corridor will likely persist and spread eastward through the

evening.  The storm environment will favor supercells capable of

producing large hail initially, while the risk for a few damaging

gusts may increase by late evening as storms grow into short line

segments.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles east and west of a line from 85 miles east northeast

of Stephenville TX to 45 miles southeast of Stephenville TX. For a
