The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northern South Dakota



* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 1025 PM

  until 300 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A linear cluster of storms will continue to progress

eastward across northern South Dakota through the late evening and

overnight hours, with locally damaging winds and some hail possible.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles south of

Mobridge SD to 20 miles southeast of Aberdeen SD. For a complete
