The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  northern Arkansas



* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 705 PM

  until 100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A band of strong/severe storms will continue moving

south-southeast out of southern Missouri into northern Arkansas.

Locally damaging winds will be the primary severe risk with these

storms, along with some potential for hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles southwest of

Harrison AR to 15 miles northeast of Batesville AR. For a complete
