The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southeast Kansas

  Southwest to northeast Oklahoma



* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 940 PM

  until 400 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible



SUMMARY...Scattered severe storms should move east-southeast from

north-central Oklahoma and south-central Kansas with additional

storm development near the I-40 corridor. Large hail is the main

hazard.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles south of

Chickasha OK to 15 miles west northwest of Chanute KS. For a
