The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southwestern Iowa

  Central and eastern Nebraska



* Effective this Wednesday morning from 225 AM until 1000 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated significant damaging wind gusts to 75 mph possible

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Intensifying clusters of thunderstorms may grow further

and merge, and will continue to pose a risk for severe hail and at

least isolated damaging gusts over the watch area.  See SPC

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55

statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles northwest of

Grand Island NE to 30 miles southeast of Omaha NE. For a complete

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce

tornadoes.
