The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Southeast Georgia

  Coastal Waters



* Effective this Saturday morning and evening from 1035 AM until

  600 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

  Scattered large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A line of thunderstorms over south-central Georgia will

continue tracking rapidly eastward across the watch area through the

early and mid-afternoon.  The strongest cells will pose a risk of

damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles

north and south of a line from 35 miles west of Waycross GA to 20

miles east northeast of Brunswick GA. For a complete depiction of
