The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southeast Kansas

  Southwest/south-central Missouri

  Northeast Oklahoma



* Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 1015 PM

  until 600 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...A broken linear cluster of storms will likely continue to

spread south-southeastward into additional parts of

southwest/south-central Missouri and northeast Oklahoma through the

late evening and overnight hours. Damaging winds will be the primary

concern along with some hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles north and south of a line from 10 miles south

southeast of Jefferson City MO to 45 miles west of Tulsa OK. For a
