The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Arkansas

  Northwestern to central Mississippi

  Northeastern Oklahoma



* Effective this Saturday morning from 230 AM until 1000 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to move southeastward

across this corridor through most of the morning, offering large

hail and occasionally damaging winds.  The severe threat will

diminish from northwest to southeast with time.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80

statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles northeast of

Fayetteville AR to 65 miles south of Greenwood MS. For a complete
