The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Far West Texas



* Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 245 PM until

  1000 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible



SUMMARY...A few supercells should develop and persist during the

late afternoon to early evening. Large hail (some of which could be

significant) along with a couple tornadoes are the primary hazards.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 90 statute miles

east and west of a line from 45 miles south of Dryden TX to 5 miles

north northeast of Guadalupe Pass TX. For a complete depiction of
