The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central South Dakota



* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 1135 PM

  until 400 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A fast-moving bow echo over western South Dakota will

track across the watch area overnight, posing a risk of damaging

wind gusts and hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles north and south of a line from 55 miles southwest of

Pierre SD to 35 miles east of Chamberlain SD. For a complete
