The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Far southwest Arkansas

  Southeast Oklahoma

  Northeast Texas



* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 250 PM until

  800 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms are underway across southeast

Oklahoma into northeast Texas. A few storms should intensify and

produce large hail. Storm-scale consolidation into a cluster may

occur in the early evening, increasing the risk for damaging winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles northwest of

Mcalester OK to 75 miles south southeast of Paris TX. For a complete
