The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Southeast Alabama

  Florida Panhandle

  Western Georgia

  Coastal Waters



* Effective this Thursday morning from Midnight until 700 AM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 75 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Broken clusters of storms will steadily spread

east-northeastward across the region through the overnight hours. A

moist environment and increasingly strong low-level shear will

support the possibility of damaging winds and a few tornadoes.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles

east and west of a line from 65 miles northeast of La Grange GA to

40 miles west of Panama City FL. For a complete depiction of the
