The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Southeast Oklahoma

  North central and central Texas



* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 610 PM

  until 200 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 80 mph possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 3 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Storms are expected to intensify along a progressive

Pacific cold front across northwest Texas and become severe as they

continue through north central and central TX this evening. All

severe hazards are possible with this activity.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 120 statute miles

north and south of a line from 30 miles west of Brownwood TX to 50

miles southeast of Durant OK. For a complete depiction of the watch
