The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  North-Central Florida

  Southwest Georgia

  Coastal Waters



* Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 535 PM until

  1000 PM EST.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A fast-moving line of thunderstorms over the Florida

Panhandle and southwest Georgia will track eastward across the watch

area late this afternoon and evening, posing a risk of damaging

winds and some hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles north northeast

of Albany GA to 55 miles east southeast of Apalachicola FL. For a
