The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northeast Oklahoma



* Effective this Wednesday morning from 150 AM until 700 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Strong to severe thunderstorms will move into the region

through the overnight hours. Isolated of isolated severe hail will

initially be possible, but some thunderstorms capable of locally

damaging winds could also move into northeast Oklahoma overnight.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30

statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles west southwest

of Bartlesville OK to 50 miles east of Bartlesville OK. For a

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening

weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce

tornadoes.
