The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northern and western Nebraska

  Western and central South Dakota



* Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 205 PM until

  1000 PM MDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated significant damaging wind gusts to 75 mph possible



SUMMARY...Widely scattered storms should develop east-southeast from

the Black Hills region with risks for large hail and severe wind

gusts.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 90

statute miles east and west of a line from 110 miles north northeast

of Rapid City SD to 45 miles southwest of Mullen NE. For a complete
