The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Eastern and south-central Kansas

  Missouri



* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 120 PM until

  1000 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 75 mph possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Numerous thunderstorms will develop along an outflow

boundary and front with several merging clusters anticipated through

the afternoon into early evening. Wind and hail are the expected

hazards.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles southwest of

Wichita KS to 60 miles east northeast of Columbia MO. For a complete

tornadoes.
