The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northeast Kansas

  Southeast Nebraska



* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 1145 PM

  until 400 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Well-organized bands of northeast-moving storms are likely

to spread across southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas overnight.

Isolated damaging winds are the primary risk.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles north northeast

of Beatrice NE to 15 miles south southeast of Manhattan KS. For a
