The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Arkansas



* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 1145 PM

  until 600 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible

  Widespread damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80

    mph likely

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...An extensive squall line will rapidly progress east from

eastern Oklahoma across Arkansas through the pre-dawn hours.

Damaging winds from strong to severe gusts along with a few

tornadoes are the primary hazards.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles

east and west of a line from 30 miles northeast of Flippin AR to 55

miles south southwest of Hot Springs AR. For a complete depiction of
