The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  North Central Texas



* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 155 PM

  until 900 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 3 inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely



SUMMARY...Isolated supercell thunderstorms will develop this

afternoon and track northeastward across the watch area.  Very large

hail, damaging gusts, and a few tornadoes are possible with the most

intense cells.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles

east and west of a line from 20 miles east of San Angelo TX to 40

miles north of Mineral Wells TX. For a complete depiction of the
