The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  eastern Indiana

  western through central Ohio



* Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 400 PM until

  1100 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes likely

  Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80

    mph likely

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Cluster of storms including a few supercells will pose a

risk for large hail, damaging wind and a few tornadoes as they

develop eastward through far eastern Indiana into Ohio this

afternoon and evening.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles

north and south of a line from 30 miles south southwest of Muncie IN

to 35 miles south southeast of Mansfield OH. For a complete

tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch

area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for

threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements

and possible warnings.
