The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Southeast Alabama

  Florida Panhandle

  Southwest Georgia

  Coastal Waters



* Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 800 PM

  until 700 AM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...A strong wind field on the eastern periphery of Claudette

will support the continued potential for low-topped supercells

capable of brief tornadoes and localized wind damage into the

overnight hours.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles

east and west of a line from 35 miles east northeast of Columbus GA

to 15 miles southwest of Apalachicola FL. For a complete depiction
