After an afternoon that saw temperatures top 90 degrees over many 
locations, our attention will turn to a cold front heading from the 
Red River Valley into Minnesota this evening. A few showers or 
thunderstorms will occur along or ahead of this boundary, and a few 
of the storms may be strong. Behind this front, Thursday looks a few 
degrees cooler, but highs will still be in the 80s. Gusty westerly 
winds in the late morning and afternoon may result in near critical 
fire weather conditions.
