There seems to be an endless supply of bitterly cold air provided by northerly winds so far this new year. The featured map shows all of Iowa with below zero Fahrenheit wind chill temperatures and many places colder than 20 below zero. The short term forecast has very little hope for warmer temperatures with another re-enforcing shot of cold air arriving in a few days. Brrrrr!
