A few thunderstorms were able to fire late Wednesday afternoon and made for very picturesque viewing with mostly clear skies surrounding them. The featured picture is from the webcam in Parkersburg showing pretty anvil near sunset. These storms died off quickly after sunset as they little wind shear support. The organized and strong storms arrived in the state overnight again bringing damaging winds.
