A winter storm just clipped northern Iowa on Friday evening into Saturday with a few isolated totals around three inches. There was some concern over freezing drizzle to the south over much of Iowa, but dry air prevented much of that from materializing. For those folks bummed over the lack of snow this winter, this week looks to make up for lost time with three rounds of accumulating snowfall expected.
